Best Biometric Gun Safe

Best Biometric Gun Safe

Biometric gun safe is the newest state-of-the-art gun safe in the market today. Biometric is the term used for using behavioral or physical characteristics to identify an individual. Such type of security system uses either fingerprints, iris structure, facial recognition, hand geometry, or even your blood vessels. For gun safes, however, the biometric often used is the fingerprint.

Why Invest in Biometric Gun Safe

Biometric gun safes offer plenty of benefits and many customers can attest to that. The most crucial advantage of owning one is speed. Biometric gun safes can be opened in just one or two seconds. The regular gun safes are normally opened after several seconds. Another important advantage is that you can set a limit on the number of people authorized to access your items inside. This means your handgun will not be in the hands of any unauthorized individual.

Gun safes with biometric technology are relatively easy to use and do not require monitoring keys or memorizing a combination. You can easily gain access to your firearm in seconds. These advantages, combined with the fact that such safes are more tamper proof, make biometric gun safes a solid contender in the market. If you want easy access without worrying about unauthorized possession of your firearms, then the biometric gun safe could be perfect for you.

Best Biometric Gun Safe

Security is of utmost importance when it comes to keeping firearms. You will need an effective gun safe to keep inexperienced and/or unauthorized individuals from possessing them. When shopping for a gun safe, you will have to focus on these factors: ease of access, storage space, security, and price. Biometric gun safes offer firearm owners a peace of mind. They can keep your weapons secured with a lock that only your fingerprint can open.

SentrySafe Biometric Gun Safe

The SentrySafe biometric gun safe features quick access and stealth functions to make your firearms safe. It has a zero-feedback biometric lock that will open only with the touch of your finger. You can program up to two fingerprints, but you can also unlock this safe through the override keys or the four-button digital keypad.

This safe is made of gauge 12 steel. It features a padded interior and a pry-resistant door. The mounting holes on the bottom allow for permanent mounting on a shelf or inside a drawer. Measuring 3.2” high x 12” wide x 9.9” long, the SentrySafe biometric gun safe should offer plenty of space to keep your handgun and an extra magazine. The unit weighs 12 pounds.

Barska Top Opening Drawer Gun Safe

The Barska Top-Opening drawer gun safe has a biometric lock that stores up to 30 fingerprints. It may seem too much, but this feature allows you to program the gun safe with fingerprints from different angles or the prints of your spouse. This can be handy in emergency situations where you or your spouse can easily get a hand of your firearm.

This safe is powered by four AA batteries that can last for up to two years. When these batteries run dead, you can always use the two backup keys. There is an audible confirmation once the gun safe has been opened, but you can silence it by pressing and holding a button inside. This Barska biometric gun safe measures 14.75” long x 11.25” wide x 5” high and weighs 21 pounds.

Gunvault Speedvault SVB500

The Gunvault Speedvault SVB500 offers a new way of keeping your firearms safe using biometric technology. This safe uses a new fingerprint scanner and activation switch that stores up to 120 fingerprints. It also offers a quick activation drop-down cabinet for easy access.

The safe’s 18-gauge steel construction keeps your weapons safe and secured. It features a number of mounting options, allowing you to easily mount it in a secret place, such as under your desk. This device also has a backup key that you can use in an emergency situation. In addition, the SVB500 runs on a nine-watt alkaline electric battery that lasts for a long time. This safe is ideal for your office or house.

Biometric gun safes may seem to be futuristic for the average firearm owner. However, these gun safes are preferable to traditional ones for many reasons. The most crucial feature of biometric gun safes would be the absence of a key. There is nothing for them to steal, and nothing for you to lose or misplace. Biometric versions are more difficult to break, too, making them ideal for those who want utmost safety and security.

The Manliest Sports in the World

The Manliest Sports in the World

Sports and manly men go hand-in-hand. They always have, regardless of the culture and tradition of a given country. When we say “manly sports”, what may come to mind are the games played in the arena during the time of the Gladiators.

I must point out – Manly sports do not have to be ‘games’ where men kill each other.

True, they may refer to sports that are dangerous. In fact, most manly sports may be legal in specific countries. While considered illegal in other part of the world. Yet, I would attempt to define manly games as any game where females would look at the men players as an alpha male who could apparently take care of everything.

Many men rather spend most of the time working than engage in manly sports. In doing so, they grow old and remain as boys. Still, a grown-up man should never completely quench his boyish vitality and spirit. In fact, a little playfulness remains essential for the quest towards happiness, fun and humour.

Hence, growing up means not tidying up some self-indulgent things. To me, a man has not grown up at all if he does not engage in some manly games. Here are some of the games in my view that shape men as who they are.

The Manliest Japanese Sports

Japanese Wrestling

Specifically called sumo wrestling, this sports involves two extremely heavy men who spent their whole lives acquiring the fiery momentum of an athlete and the equilibrium of a ballet dancer.

These 500-pound brutes continuously crash together until someone winds up moving outside or down the marked circle. Can you imagine getting stuck amid these two monsters during the crash?

This Japanese sport, which is more like a commemoration event, is played every six years. It involves taking a 200-year pine tree and riding it downward the mountain side. Yes, you may die in the process if you are not too careful!

The Manliest Scottish Sports

Hammer Throw

As the name suggests, the sports requires the players to throw a 16 to 25-pound hammer 250 feet away. Now among the hurling events in the Olympics, this competition awards those who could throw the farthest. Although hammer throw is usually considered as a sport of strength, technical and skill improvements have become more crucial to achieve the greatest distance throw.

A good video on how the game is played:

Caber Toss

This Scottish manliest sport involves taking a 20-foot tall, 200-pound Larch tree to be thrown in a ring. A traditional athletic competition, it remains normally played at the Highland Games in Scotland. This sport is thought to have originated from the necessity to throw logs past narrow abysses to be able to cross them.

The manliest American Sports

Competitive Eating

Do you know that this sport went on a break for a couple of years because of deaths due to choking? Such competitions may involve eating hot dog, hamburgers, or other processed meat with or without buns.

The Manliest Sports in the World

While not strictly an American sport, it’s certainly the fastest growing sport in the US. MMA is incredibly exciting, as well as equally devastating for the fighters who are on the wrong end of a KO or submission.

This is a close as it gets to modern day gladiators battling it out in a coliseum.

The manliest Philippine Sports

Very rare could you find a Filipino who does not play basketball! In fact, a Filipino man who does not know how to play the game could be thought as a gay. In contrast, many Filipinas fall head-over-heels with men playing the game. Still, Filipino is not very good at this game, ranking 28th in the World Ranking.

boxing manly sports

Philippines have produced great boxers in the world, with Manny Pacquiao top of the list. With this sport, no one could be more aggressive than two men trying to hit one another.

It has bloodshed, lots of punching and perspiration and a great deal of whack talking amid the boxers. Do note that boxing can cause pain, injuries and even death. Still, if you become very good in the game, your way to the rich world and popularity could never be shorter.

Special Mention – Bear Wrestling

What would a list of manly sports be without including the history of bear wrestling. It’s something that would never even come into consideration today. Yet, long ago, wrestling a bear was a right of passage for children in some countries.

Oh, how easy we have it today.

Now, would you agree with me when I say that men should not stop engaging in manly sports? Sports, after all, boosts the immune system, increases happiness and provides a sense of community and belonging.

Moreover, working too much results to depression. Always remember that the manliest sports involves innovation, curiosity and exploration.

This looks at the limitations of your physique, new tangible locations, and the assessment of the imagination and creativity of your brain. Just ponder about anything fun and manly, then be a part of it!

5 Manly Vehicles Guaranteed To Make You 10% More Attractive

5 Manly Vehicles Guaranteed To Make You 10% More Attractive

Guest contribution by Paul Dumarel from AussieAutoAdvice.com.

We all know that owning a hot car makes a man look awesome. It’s an undeniable fact of life. Kind of like gravity, taxes and so on. And who doesn’t want to look awesome.

With that being said, here are 5 cars that in all likelihood, 99.8% of us are never going to be able to afford or justify spending money on and even if we could justify it, the wife has her eye on something a little more 7 seater-ish. Heck, she’s probably even be eyeing off a minivan and we’d probably be powerless to stop any of our wives in that instance. But still, IF we did own one of these amazing cars, we’d look awesome AF.

The Bugatti Veyron.

Obviously from the looks of it, it’s cool, sleek and sophisticated. But take note that this hot many vehicle is not just about its 7-figure sticker price; its 1001 horsepower or its capacity to top 90 km/h speed limits by approximately 400 km/h. As one of our list’s manly car, the Bugatti Veyron has the killer looks to kill. It is not like the obnoxiously rough and top like Rambo, but that is because it is not what it’s intended to be.

Lamborghini Countach.

Just a handful manly cars acquire a silhouette you will recognize right away. Of those a few, there is arguably none more very distinctive than the Lamborghini Countach. It is so damn manly that if this will not stir the hot testosterone manliness in you, you’d probably don’t have a pulse. Up to this day, the Lamborghini Countach has that unmistakable and brute outlook with that standoffish “screw you” attitude. So you as a driver, it’s up to you to do everything right or else, things can get pretty lousy.

Chevrolet Corvette.

No other manly vehicle on this top 10 list has been included in production as long as the Corvette has, and quite a few Corvettes have difficulty living up to its manly car specifications. The manliest it could get is its C2 Sting Ray of the 1963  to 1967. Other people attribute its being manly to its road attitude, which does not suffer badly.

Dodge Viper.

The Dodge Viper has been a manly car since it was fully launched in 1992 as its model. It always has had a V10, and that is always been attached to its manual transmission, so no paddle shifters here. Not to mention that there is not much to save your bacon if you get so insane. It means that there are no coddling electronic aids in order to make it all more comfy or better. So it’s either you get it right or simply face the music. Which is in fact really the sign of the ultimate manly car.

Ferrari GTO.

With 60 years of the iconic Ferraris to take into consideration and apparently a few undesirables within the mix, it is unlikely to leave Maranello out of this topic, but quite challenging to choose the typical car. Look back to those famous people who has driven this car. Dirty Harry Clint Eastwood had a 365 GT4 BB. And The Steve McQueen had driven a Lusso. And having a clear edge than those models mentioned above is the original GTO.

It’s manufactured to win races, so its design was the output of the wind tunnel and test track refinement and not really an attempt to get the appeal of its market and clientele. Hence, the very manly V12 always dominates the track and to this day, remain an uncompromising legend.

So there you go, 5 cars that would totally make you look a minimum of 10% hotter. Fact.
